Suddenly

hungry, hungry, hungry

in the limelight
The blossoms of autumn
everything turning into their autumn dress
Sedum loving the season
amassed in all their glory

water lily pond

It is fall here quite suddenly and the birds are crowding the bird feeder and spritzing themselves wherever they can find water.  Through out  the heavy rain yesterday the ponds were glowing and shimmery. The air feels decidedly lighter and blowsy.

Out digging in the garden again–weeding and dividing and transplanting over-  crowded Sedum and a new variety of Endless Summer Hydrangea.

The garden has a whole new look. It’s all dressed for autumn.
