Some of the loveliest flowers around.  They must be very popular as there were only 3 plants left when I thought to look for them.


Even the co-op which often has the best selection from a local nursery only had a couple–and that was much later in the season than usual.

Have them in salads and inhale their sweet scent. They are just too delicate and lovely for words.

Added a soaker hose that would reach to the Hydrangeas along the edge of the driveway.  Not much in the way of rain over the past two weeks.  The Forsythia and Stella d’oro Lilies out at the end of the driveway are suffering extreme dryness.   Time to haul water out there, I guess, if these storms today don’t do the trick.
