Blooms in June

Blooms everywhere  and if not blooms then buds. Honey Suckle vine, Irises,Roses, Peonies, Hydrangea all in promising bud.  Poppies popping and blessed rain in heavy doses for two days in a row.

Now, a week later, and after a very rainy stretch, more climbing roses, lilies everywhere, foxglove, lots of Bee Balm, and puffy Hydrangea blooms, some lacy and some Quick Fire, Endless Summer, and Annabelle.   The best bird season is upon us too with young Cardinals, Grosbeak, Gold and  Purple Finches, Chickadees, and a nest of tiny Robins tucked into the top of the arbor under the climbing Hydrangea and miniature roses–the most treasured time of summer. Even the pond is at its best. The Water Lilies are blooming, the Water Lettuce and Water Hyacinth are green and sprouting new growth and the frogs are chirping and billowing.  Now for some new fish with water temps becoming more inviting.
